What is Bison Tallow ?
Tallow is rendered animal fat, meaning the fat has been cooked slowly to separate the fat from connective tissues. This creates a holistic moisturizer, rich with vitamins A, D, E, K & B12 that are biocompatible with our skin’s cells. Meaning it soaks right into the skin, locking in moisture and nutrients without clogging your pores. Tallow also has antimicrobial, antibacterial and anti-inflammatory properties, thanks to the conjugated linoleic acid (CLA) found in it. Omegas 7 & 9 are also present in tallow, these omegas allow for the nutrients to perforate deep and leave your skin feeling healthy and glowing.
